Born on 23rd. June 1974. Lives and works in Cairo.
Ossama Emam graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Ceramics Dept., Helwan University on 1998. On 2004, he awarded The Egyptian State Prize in Art Creativity in Ceramics from The Egyptian Academy of Arts in Rome, Italy. He curated the international ceramic symposium in Sinai (Egypt) on 2014, and participated in more than 70 international exhibitions and workshops.
Emam’s gained several national and international awards and prizes, such as but not limited to: On 1998, the Jury prize at the 4th Cairo International Biennale of Ceramics (Egypt). On 2002 and 2007, the 1st Prize in Ceramics on the session No. 14th and 18th of the Salon of Youth (Egypt). On 2006, the honorable Prize, Ceramica Della Rambala, Cordoba (Spain). On 2006, 1st Prize in “Il Presepe ed i suoi personaggi in Castel Nuovo Nigra, Torino (Italy). On 2007, the 2nd prize in ceramics, Ente Ceramica Faenza, (Italy) and honorable prize in 4th World Ceramics Biennale Cebiko, (South Korea). On 2012, Special Mencion of Honor, Ascoli Museum (Italy).
